Role & Responsibilities

Help our users in providing descriptions of products, physical environment, or items, providing directions, public transportation details, troubleshooting technology, placing online orders, and all other requests from our users that are within our Terms of Service.

  • Complete 3 hours of disability, diversity, and inclusion training

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls

  • Responsible for knowing how to use the call center software, features, and mobile app

  • Follow Tappy Guide’s Data Handling Policy & Training

  • Report bugs or issues with software

  • Provide feedback to Tappy Guide for improvements

Requirements

As a technology that connects real people in real time, we take the privacy of all parties very seriously. Due to the unique role and working environment, all Guides must meet these listed minimum requirements. All listed specifications require proof to qualify for this position.

Personal Requirements:

All agents must meet or exceed the following personal, physical, and educational requirements before applying.

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Read, understand, and describe locations using our mapping software
  • See, process, and describe visual information
  • Familiar with Google Maps and Google Places
  • Ability to search the internet for alternative solutions to solve a user’s problem

Volunteer Types: Volunteer minimum of, but not limited to 4 hours per week. 

Schedule:  Core hours of operation are 7am-7pm CST
